Meaghan Howard joins the CASE team after living for four years in Bavaria, Germany. She holds a Master of Arts degree in health education from the University of Alabama. Meaghan has worked in higher education for over eight years, with health education experience managing the Community Wellness Center and Water Fitness classes. While in Germany, Meaghan and her family worked with Young Life International to invest in the lives of military teens. Education and impacting people are at the heart of her personal goals. She wants to continue this impact through her role with the Breathe Easy Cape Girardeau Coalition and her position in Southeast Community.
Ron Williams holds a Ph.D. in health education and health promotion from the University of Alabama and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). He has experience working in settings such as strength and conditioning and community wellness. His research interests include substance abuse prevention, alcohol use among college athletes, and sport-related violence and deviance. Dr. Williams is also an experienced program evaluator who has worked on multiple health promotion and substance abuse prevention programs. He is a member of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (AAHPERD), American Association for Health Education (AAHE), American School Health Association (ASHA), National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and Eta Sigma Gamma, the National Health Education Honorary.
