Smoke Free SLU Alliance

Smoke Free SLU is a peer group for educating students, faculty and staff and initiating smoke-free polices on Saint Louis University's campus. We want to make our community aware of the need for smoke-free policies in order to reduce exposure to secondhand smoke and the health hazards associated with that. Through heightened awareness, we will work to eliminate or drastically reduce secondhand smoke on the campus. Our example will encourage other universities to enact smoke-free policies in order to protect the well-being of everyone on college campuses.

Meetings

Smoke Free SLU holds bimonthly meetings on the Saint Louis University campus. Active members receive a free T-shirt and a water bottle, and the group holds three free pizza days over the 2008-2009 school year during their meetings. To sign up, e-mail the group at smokefreeslu@gmail.com.

Smoking cessation classes

We offer a 7-week on-campus smoking cessation program completely free and geared towards students at SLU. To sign up or for more informaiton, email us at smokefreeslu@gmail.com.
