Community Alliances

CASE has aligned with eight Missouri communities, called community-alliances. The goal is to develop sustainable community-alliances functioning that:

• Strengthens tobacco use policies in community worksites;
• Promotes and develops available cessation services for smokers who want to quit;
• Sponsors healthy events and provides a presence at public events (e.g., sporting events, county fairs);
• Educates targeted audiences (e.g., the mayor, city council members, healthcare providers, university administrators, bar and restaurant owners); and
• Provides useful strategic communication resources and other important local and national tobacco control news on its website.
