Dean Andersen

Dean Andersen, M. Ed., is currently a Health Educator at MU Student Health Center and Project Manager on the Missouri Foundation for Health grant. Andersen has three years experience as Project Manager for a statewide research grant funded by the National Cancer Institute aimed at reducing smoking among rural youth. He has served as Co-Chair for 1.5 years on, S.A.F.E. (Smoke-free Air For Everyone), a local coalition focused on passing a smoke-free workplace ordinance in Columbia, Mo. Andersen's professional experience includes Project Manager for Columbia's Storm Water Project for 3.5 years, and Residence Hall Coordinator at MU.
