Kevin Everett

Kevin Everett is a clinical psychologist and Associate Professor in the Department of Family & Community Medicine at the University of Missouri. He received his Ph.D. from Louisiana State University in 1992, and then completed an internship and postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Psychology at Brown University. He was a faculty member in the Department of Family Medicine at East Tennessee State University prior to accepting his appointment at University of Missouri in 2001. His research focuses on health behavior change, with specific interests in tobacco use. This includes two funded projects testing smoking cessation interventions during pregnancy as well as another funded project promoting leadership development in students and community tobacco control advocates to effectively address problems caused by tobacco use.
