'Thank You for Smoking' to be shown at MSU

SMASH, Students of Missouri State University Against Smoking Hazards, is co-sponsoring with Student Activities Council the satirical comedy "Thank You for Smoking."

This film will be shown in the Plaster Student Union Theater.

This event is part of SMASH's "Clean Air for Bears!" campaign to help raise awareness about tobacco use and exposure.

The event is free and open to the public. Free popcorn will be served.

There will be two screenings - the first at 9 p.m. Tuesday and the second at 7 p.m. Thursday on the Great American Smokeout day.

SMASH is a student-led organization at MSU working to educate the campus community about the dangers of secondhand smoke and to promote clean air for everyone.
